The ways and requirements for access to the master have been established from procedure PR/CL/007 "Selection and Admission of Students", whose objective is to define the process of Selection and Admission of students who will develop their studies in any of the degrees taught in first and second cycle at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and which is part of the Internal Quality Assurance System approved by the ANECA on February 24, 2009.
With it, and always within the framework of what is specified in Royal Decree 1393/2007 and in the Access and Enrolment Regulations approved by the Governing Council of the UPM in its session of March 26, 2009, it is sought to establish a process of selection and admission of students that meet the requirements indicated by the ANECA.
This process (adapted to the specific context of the master's degree) specifies, with regard to the aforementioned, the following elements:
- The Academic Commission of Master, will be able to establish some formative complements that will serve to level the knowledge of all the students who access the master. These training complements can be of 6 ECTS and according to the student profile.
- The reference elements that the Academic Committee of the Master will consider in the selection process of the students are summarized in the following table:

Academic record | 40 |
